My name is Michel van Dijk. This year (2024), I turned 60. The years have flown by. I am a father of four daughters and married to Miriam. Born and raised near Rotterdam.
With 40 years of work experience, I can call myself an experienced advisor and entrepreneur. I gained advisory experience at PwC, one of the Big Four firms. It was a good and intensive learning experience for me. After that, I moved to the corporate world. I was active at TNT in the postal and logistics market as M&A manager, CFO, and CEO. With acquisitions across Europe, I contributed to the expansion of the company's logistics network.
As a buy-in manager for a private equity firm, I also became a shareholder in an international furniture rental company in the event sector. I contributed to the international expansion of the company. Important tasks included building trust, fair negotiations for the acquisition of the company, and process integration, including the implementation of the central ERP system. After selling the company, I decided to share my knowledge with other entrepreneurs.
For twelve years, I worked with Moore DRV on the expansion of consultancy activities. It was ultimately the longest collaboration of my career. We worked with great pleasure on the strategy of the company that eventually became Crossminds, and in twelve years, I have been able to help many companies in various sectors with diverse issues.
Those were 40 wonderful and intensive years. It was also time for reflection. I have helped many entrepreneurs earn more with less effort. Why not do that for myself as well?
